So I realised something after playing Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon for such a long time, this game is unfair. From the huge amounts of enemies to the insane accuracy drops from previous games it seems to create a aura of difficulty when in actuality it is just stacking the odds against you unfairly. One level past the story missions that I had particular trouble with was dealing with a ten floor dungeon with only my underlevelled starter pokemon and no others. Of course there was an item I could use to summon more pokemon in the dungeon, so I used it. This is of course creating a workaround to an unfair system, and I do not feel ashamed.

Many people have this general hatred of using workarounds at difficult bits of games. These moments mean you have to use everything at your disposal to get past them so to me using an extremely overpowered item or ability to get by them is not an easy way out or something designed for bad players it’s just something that helps me to continue my playing experience rather than just smashing my head against a brick wall.
