The things that video game characters eat are just plain strange at times. Sure in certain realistic or survival games you have your typical chicken, plants and all the usual stuff we find and eat in the normal world but some of those things have bizzare properties.
Take for instance the fact that food items usually provide healing to your character. Why does eating this delicious roast turkey I foudn inside a wall help cure sword cuts? Or how does eating a bunch of fried mushrooms on a stick help me feel better after I technically drowned? Apparently in the world of gaming all food has magical healing properties. That isn’t even scratching the surface however on how weird some of the things we eat in games are and I’d like to hear what you all think!
