So it turns out people are having a field day with the facial animations of the soon to be released Mass Effect:Andromeda. Apparently the animations are so poor that they frequently take people out of the experience and are actually a huge detriment to the game when trying to establish a scene because it just ends up being too funny.
This all stems seemingly from an incompetent and freshly picked set of animators, especially the lead animator who is said to have had no previous game work experience. This is concerning that EA was willing to make such a huge illogical decision perhaps based only on saving money, or perhaps in a scarier thought they genuinely believed they were qualified enough.
Still I don’t know too much else about the game. Some people love it, some hate it, some are inbetween. Personally I won’t be buying it right now (especially with having to buy it on EA Origins, I shiver even mentioning it) so I will wait and see what the general reception is. Anyway that’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
