Homebrew is an interesting side of the Nintendo fanbase, being the hacking core of all Nintendo consoles thus far they have certainly allowed some interesting developments in the history of consoles that Nintendo has released recently. This has once again been proven to be the case as finally after almost a year the Switch has been succesfully hacked due to an exploit found it’s CPU chip.
This exploit was discovered and shown off at a hacking convention that took place in Germany, allowing other budding hackers to take a look at the inner workings of the console and even add their own custom software into the system. It’s certainly an interesting development and could lead to many big things if the same talented group of hackers can create some good games. On the other hand however this of course opens up the console to pirating games so it has its ups and downs.
What do you all think about this? Are you interested in the knowledge that Homebrew software can now be put on the Switch? Discuss it in the comments section with everyone else! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
