Sega have recently been teasing a game that they are publishing and have finally shown it off to the world, Two Point Hospital. The game is said to be a spiritual sequel to Theme Hospital, a simulation game set in a hospital in the same vain as Rollercoaster Tycoon or Zoo Tycoon. The game was said to be a nostalgic trip for fans so seeing it back again is sure to make a lot of people happy.
Personally I was more a fan of the Tycoon series of games rather than the ‘Theme’ series (though I did enjoy playing Theme Park) so this comes as a nice little surprise to me. It makes me happy to see that big publishing studios are still willing to try out relatively old genres and this game will hopefully help spark the renewal of the simulator/tycoon genres of games, I really do miss them.
