My love of Oblivion continues as I have finally gotten back to the Shivering Isles, one of my most favourite part of the Elder Scrolls 4. For those that don’t know Oblivion was one of the first ever games do have DLC (for better or for worse) and had some very interesting things to download. You had your Horse Armor fiasco, one of the worst pieces of DLC ever created but on the other hand you had one of the greatest pieces of DLC ever made, the Shivering Isles.
Set in the Oblivion realm of the Daedric Prince of Madness, Sheogorath, you get an entirely new world to explore, new enemies, new quests, new powerful items and even a brilliant new main story that gives us a fantastic madgod to enjoy talking to. It’s interesting that some of the most interesting conversations you have with people in the game come from those who are completely insane. Still it’s a magical experience and I could go on for hours just explaining why I love this expansion so much but really I would just advise you try it if you have the original game and haven’t visited this fantastic world yet.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
