Controller are perhaps one of the most important aspects of a gaming console, or even a gaming PC! Essentially it’s the way that the player interacts with the world, otherwise you might as well be watching a movie (looking at you Metal Gear Solid 4!). So it came to my surprise when I was talking to someone today and they told me of how they play on the Xbox One with a keyboard and mouse, weird!
Apparently it’s a third party accessory that maps mouse and keyboard presses to controller movements. Now I’ve heard of the opposite happening, using a controller to play PC games, but to hear about it being the other way around? Now that’s strange. I guess some people, like myself, just prefer using this type of control scheme even when using a console. In some ways it allows people who aren’t as sure about getting a gaming PC to use their favourite control method, or even to play games like Halo with a more precise control!
