As the medium of gaming has developed over the years many different genres have emerged and competitive gaming has become a lot more popular in the mainstream market. One such great example of this happening are so called ‘Training Games’. These are programs designed to help you get better at gaming by doing stuff such as improving your aiming skills, allowing you to train in a controlled environment, and much more!
These are a unique spin on competitive gaming as there is no actual game here, just challenges and routines to help you get better at others. We now have games, to help you do better at games! Truly the simulation has come full circle. Whether you are practicing your shooter skills in Aim Hero (as seen above) or even trying out competitive Pokemon Teams on Pokemon Showdown these new games allow you to truly hone your skills, and maybe even have some fun while you’re at it too.
So what do you all think about these Training/Practice games? Do you find them useful and if so which ones do you use? Comment and share! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
