So the Mega Man Anniversary livestream certainly delivered with not only announcing an anniversary collection for the Blue Bomber but also a brand new entry in the series, Mega Man 11!
This new entry in the series certainly has a unique artstyle compared to the rest of the games, looking almost as though it is a combination between both the original and Legends series. Supposedly according to the developers this new style is ‘hand-drawn’ 2.5D animation and they hope will reinvigorate the franchise. Now I don’t know about that, and I certainly don’t think this looks hand drawn but I am more than willing to be proven wrong. Still hopefully this new game will bring back the old fans, and even introduce new fans to the series. Let’s just hope Mighty Number 9 didn’t do too much damage to Megaman’s reputation.
