Knights in video games are often not correctly represented as they truly were throughout history. True you do have the general image of a noble individual in a suit of metal armor wielding some type of sword but most of the time people seem to think that these guys were common during medieval times, very far from the truth.
Of course it doesn’t stop us from enjoying the fantasy of this type of world. Video games are designed to experience worlds that we may never get to see in our own lives, which in many ways is why I don’t understand when a game tries to sell itself on realism alone. I usually enjoy playing knights the most in games as they represent a simple concept, tank damage and get close. Some games of course change up the formula but in general they tend to be a simple yet fun way to spend your time, especially in RPG’s. Due to this, I’ll forgive the historical inaccuracies, for now anyway.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
