So the Star Wars Battlefront Beta is coming to a close after an additional day has been added onto the original closing day. People have had a great time running around Hoth and many people think this beta will help set the game to become a huge release. The only problem is… I didn’t play it.
Here’s the thing, I don’t like EA. When I learned that there was going to be a new Star Wars Battlefront I flipped. Battlefront is my favourite set of Star Wars games so the chance to play another I would snap it up. When I heard it was EA and DICE however I became skeptical. They haven’t exactly had the greatest line up of games (or corporate decisions for that matter) so even if the gameplay in this Beta turned out to be the greatest thing ever I still wouldn’t trust how the final product could be. Knowing EA this beta could very well be the extent of the gameplay you would experience in the final product, the game itself would only just add new maps and such. Still I have heard good things about it so I might be completely wrong. I won’t be able to get hold of a review copy unfortunately (I’m not that famous yet) so I will just wait until it comes out and I have enough money to see if I purchase it. Please… please don’t screw this up EA…
