So first up on the E3 chopping block this year was EA, and unfortunately their conference was a bit of a let down. They really focused on two things, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and the new iterations of their yearly sports games. Now I’m a fan of Star Wars, and they do look like they are making notable improvements in this iteration, however they dedicated almost half of their entire conference to this game, and I feel as though that’s to make up for a lack of things to show off.
Of course they also showed off a few more things. A new Need for Speed game, which is interesting as I took the series to be all but dead, and a brand new IP from Bioware called Anthem, which looks a little bit like Destiny meets Lost Planet with a sprinkle of Attack on Titan. No gameplay at the conference however, but I believe that is what is shown in the Microsoft Conference (which I will talk about tomorrow) so more info then!
In the meantime keep an eye on this site to hear all about the new announcements throughout all this week! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
