So tot he first topic and of course it’s the one that’s the most controversial, the cancellation of the upcoming Xbox One game Scalebound. It was suppossed to be an action platforming game that took inspiration from DMC, Shadow of the Colossus and Final Fantasy to create a type of hybrid dragon fighting game that also involved a snarky teen wearing headphones as the main character.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t know anything about the game until I found out about its cancellation. Once I did some digging though I found out just how cool the game looked and I felt worse about the fact we most likely will never see it. Apparently the cancellation is due to internal conflicts between Platinum Games and Microsoft, shown mostly by the huge number of delays the game was subject to.
Now due to me not knowing about the game beforehand I don’t really know the details about where things went wrong however all I know is that a pretty cool looking game will no longer be available to us and that makes me sad.
