Or better yet, don’t!

Consider this post a bit of a rant for a bad situation I was in, this example should not be the one story that stops you using this service. As I mentioned yesterday I had trouble getting Breath of the Wild and that’s mainly due to Amazon not checking their pre-order stock correctly.

I pre ordered the game earlier last year, I think it was around December. So it came as a great surprise to get an email from Amazon the day before release telling me that the game would actually be shipped to me by the following Wednesday. Obviously I found this unnaceptable and so cancelled my pre-order and bought a physical copy in a store near me instead.

The story funnily enough however doesn’t just end there. Shortly after my purchase when I checked my emails I found another message telling me that the order that I have (which was already cancelled at this point by the way) would actually be sent to me at an unknown date rather than the Wednesday as they aren’t sure when their stock will come back in. Obviously this didn’t affect me at the time I simply found it rather funny.

So I guess the moral of this story is be wary when pre-ordering games from Amazon, clearly they can’t do their gaming shipping logistics. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
