Poor Hello Games, they just can’t seem to catch a break with legal problems. A Dutch company which developed the ‘Superformula’ that was used for creating the massive Universe in their upcoming game No Man’s Sky has disapproved to it being used for the game and thus wants talks with the developers on how they can work this out.
This is obviously not the first controversy that No Man’s Sky has encountered with them having to battle several year long legal battles in order to even have the right to produce the game let alone deal with the generation tools they used. At the end of the day it was a professor at a university who now works for this Dutch company that created the formula so while he can’t exactly patent this generation tool he should at least be recognised for the creation and use of this amazing tool that has crafted one of the biggest game world ever created. We shall have to see how this affects the game and if it may end up leading to another delay.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
