Blizzard has decided that they want to completely rebrand their gaming platform Battle.Net by changing the name of it to something else. They haven’t commented on what they are actually going to rebrand it do however all we know is that Battle.Net will be no more at some point.
While this perhaps does make sense as the fact that their own digital platform sounds a bit like a website to some people having a complete rebrand does seem a bit strange and overexcessive. Nevertheless I’m sure that this change in name will have almost no substantial change on the games that Blizzard create and moderate other than you having to change all your third party software that interacts with Battle.Net to something else, damn you Blizzard!
