If any of you have played Skyrim then you no doubt know about the Dark Brothehood, a shadowy guild of assassins who have a fanatical reverance for their dark god Sithis. I recently started a character to join this group as they are some of the best quests in the game, and this is an unusual step for me.
I realise many people play games to experience something they wouldn’t do but on most occasions I try to play as I would normally, this of course means that I try to be the good guy whenever I can. This however leads to bad conclusions as it means I miss out on some of the greatest and most unique quests in the game purely for role playing purposes. So which is more important, to play as you would in a game or to play from the perspective of someone that isn’t you?
I’m enjoying playing my evil character for now, but we shall see if this all pays off in the end. I can only hope that I grow to enjoy playing on the dark side more often. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
