So good news everyone, my internet has indeed returned! I do apologise for the break in your regular content however here I am again ready to tell you all about what I did during my internet blackout!
As you can probably tell from the title, I watched videos on a shaky wifi connection. Specifically my childhood favourite web series, Arby ‘N’ the Chief. It’s a poorly made machinima show that focused upon toys of the popular Halo characters coming to life and getting up to various hijinks. The show is stupid, the humor is crude and the production quality is very much student level, but it’s my favourite web series nonetheless.
I think it is mostly nostalgia that makes me love the series. Seeing this stuff during the midst of my teenage years it really hit me as the target audience so I fell in love almost instantly. I also think that another reason I love it so much is due to just how much genuine love is put into this series. It’s clear the creator loves the characters and the story so while it may not look or sound the best it most definitely has the most heart of any series I have watched.
I would highly encourage you if you haven’t seen it to at least give it a go. Also I just recently found out the creator went independent and has been making a new series, looks like I know what I’m watching when I’m finished my rewatch of the series!
