I haven’t found many multiplayer games that work especially well for VR unless the concept is extremely simple however I’ve stumbled across a game that may set to change those perceptions.
A Township Tale is an MMORPG that uses VR to create a full living world that you can explore with other people online in a constantly active environment. Supposedly the game is a slower paced game compared to other VR RPGs as you spend your time crafting your items in an immersive way, building up your abandoned town and once you have gotten the basics then you can begin adventuring. The idea behind it is very interesting and I especially like the look of the crafting which requires you to actually take your resources and use them to build things piece by piece in a realistic manner. It’s free too so I’m looking forward to giving this a shot and seeing if it truly lives up the hype of being the best MMO for VR. This may turn out to be the WoW of VRMMO’s.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
