Valve recently broke their silence regarding Team Fortress 2 and revealed in a blog post that they are looking to have an actual major update to the game this summer which will bring to a close the long 5 year wait fans have had for an actual major update to the game.
Now at the moment we don’t actually know what the update will contain, or even if it will actually be the big update that we have been waiting for. The blog post simply detailed that it would be an “Update-Sized Update” and that they were looking for submissions on the Steam Workshop to add to the summer update. This feels more like a fan-focused creativity update rather than the fabled ‘Heavy Update’ that fans have been clamoring for but I am more than willing to be surprised by this as I adore TF2 and seeing a new big update to the game would bring a smile to my face.
