So there was a Nintendo Direct a couple days ago… I for some reason had no idea one was even scheduled, regardless it’s always nice to see! Due to the sudden nature of this and most of the content here being smaller games or updates to bigger ones I’m just going to talk about the big hits here as a very brief summary.
We got a new trailer for Pikmin 4 which was lovely to see, a brand new Samba De Amigo game which is such a random niche for Sega to pull from I legitimately forgot the character existed. A game known as Disney Illusion Island which looks like Cuphead having it’s style updated to more modern Disney cartoons which is an interesting choice, We Love Katamari is getting a remaster just like the original game which is nice to see. Octopath Traveller 2 now has a demo out which I will be playing like crazy, Game Boy and GBA Games are now on the Switch Online service though having the GBA games locked behind the expansion pass is a massive dick move. A new trailer for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom came out and showed more of what we loved and finally there was the shocking announcement and immediate release of a remaster of Metroid Prime, talk about a surprising sudden reveal that will shake the Metoid community.
That’s everything I care to mention right now. As mentioned previously more stuff was shown off so if you really want to see it all then be sure to check out the archived stream right here. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
