In a shocking reveal Remedy has announced that they are remaking the first two Max Payne games despite the IP still technically still being owned by Rockstar, who would have thought!
At the moment we still don’t know many details about the project aside from the fact that the games will be in a bundle together and that it’s still a while away as it’s not even entered the development stage yet. Regardless this is still big news as the franchise has been dormant for a while thus seeing the return of the games that arguably created if not perfected bullet time is an exciting prospect. I will be keeping a close eye on this over the coming years and I hope fans of the franchise are happy to finally be getting the remakes they have wanted for a long time.
