If you have ever been a Sega fan you might have heard of the original Alex Kidd game which was their first attempt at creating an identifiable mascot platformer way before the days of Sonic. The game is considered a bit of a cult classic rhese days but it seems as though enough people love the original title that it’s getting a full remake.
Alex Kidd In Miracle World DX is a remake of the first game released on the Master System in 1986 and will feature a full graphical rehaul (including a ‘retro mode’ for all the true nostalgia nutters), refined mechanics, new levels and even a boss rush mode. All of this seems to indicate a true love letter to the original Alex Kidd and it will be interesting to see if the game’s mechanics will hold up to today’s standards. The game is set to be released in the first quarter of next year and will be released on all major consoles and PC.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
