GTA 6 is still having things leaked about it including gameplay, the map, new systems and more. It’s clear whoever is leaking this stuff has access to a playable build and they have followed up on their threat of continuing to leak stuff until Rockstar include physical copies of the game again. They even seem to be shilling some form of Crypto doing all this, because of course they are.
However, a possible twist, what if this is Rockstar themselves? This is obviously bringing a lot of attention to GTA 6, it makes it feel more authentic and easy to watch instead of it being a pre-rendered, pre-set trailer and it feels very on brand to market your crime game with an actual crime. It’s an intriguing thought, and whilst Take-Two have said they’ve started doing internal checks with their companies to determine the leak this my very well be a 4D chess move that allows them excellent marketing buzz. I guess we’ll find out the truth the closer we get to release, but until then, I’ll just continue to be content in not playing it.
