Well when I woke up this morning I didn’t expect to be talking about something like this but here we are. KFC has always had an interest in the gaming market, even earlier last year they decided to release a dating sim featuring the Colonel himself and all the silliness that brings. This time however they’re going even further, KFC have decided to make their own gaming console… yeah…
Dubbed the KFConsole it actually seems to be more of a gaming PC (though currently unknown as to whether it will have actual PC architecture or will feature a custom system similar to the Xbox or Playstation) with some serious power behind it and even featuring the ability to seemlessly swap out GPU systems in a tray system which is actually a massive quality of life improvement that it may help those who are less into custom PC building understand the systems better in a more user friendly way. The main attraction of course, because this is KFC, is a cooling system which will act like a small heating system that they claim will allow you to heat up your own chicken pieces and eat them piping hot ready for your gaming sessions. The idea is certainly a gimmick and a strange marketing stunt for sure but it’s interesting to see how successful this system actually is and I can only imagine the amount of damage that chicken pieces falling into gratings and such would cause for the internal systems. Those poor internal components. The system hasn’t got a release date or a price yet so stay tuned to see if this joke actually turns out to be something to keep an eye on.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
