The Endless Tide

Just look at all those consumers…

Does anyone remember Project Zomboid? It was an interesting isometric zombie survival RPG that was released back in the day and maintained a relatively active cult following over the many years of development. Many people had given up hope on the game ever reaching the heights of popularity again, especially with the zombie trend being well and truly done to death (hehe). However it appears as though you can never truly stop the undead as with the latest update to the game, Build 41, the game has seen a massive surge in popularity.

This increase in player population is most likely due to the much anticipated multiplayer mode being fully released from Beta allowing people to spend their time on servers with other players as they attempt to survive the zombie apocalypse. This has of course also led many streamers to trying out the game and even attempting to get into the roleplaying scene which for a zombie apocalypse game is absolutely something people will want to get involved with.

It’s nice to see a game that’s this old still be played to this day and while the updates still aren’t done I’m sure the developers will feel far more encouraged to continue working after seeing the numbers go up for them. Let’s see if this becomes the de facto zombie apocalypse RPG game as the years go by.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
