Have you ever wanted a game that combined Resident Evil, Diablo and Dark Souls? Well this upcoming game may be the very thing you have been waiting for, though I must say you have very specific interests.
Mortal Crux is an upcoming indie RPG being made by an anonymous developer and is aimed to release on Steam Early Access at some point in the near future. As you can tell from the image it very much looks like your classic fantasy RPG but with the twist that the outside camera is from an isometric perspective similar to ARPG titles whilst interior locations have a fixed camera perspective similar to games like Resident Evil or certain sections of Ocarina of Time. It’s an interesting idea and alongside that the game also has combat that is very reminiscent of Souls-like games and as such will probably be incredibly difficuly.
I love the aesthetic of the game so I am very much looking forward to the continued development and hope that it ends up as good as it’s original premise. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
