Skyblivion is a project that has been a long time coming. The project first started in 2012 and has only continued to get bigger and better by the day. For those who don’t know Skyblivion is essentially a massive game overhaul of the original Elder Scrolls Oblivion by recreating it in the Skyrim engine.
The visual upgrades are apparent but there are also a massive amount of fixes, changes to the combat system and of course a brand new series of voiced characters done completely from scratch. This has been a huge undertaking and even more amazingly the game has been made completely by volunteers and as such all of this content is completely free. I mention this project now as they just released a trailer showing off the new voice acting and a lot of how the world will look which I must say made me feel incredibly nostalgic and happy. The project still doesn’t have an ETA as to when it will be released but I would much rather they take their time and pour as much effort into this as possible rather than rush it out. I just hope it turns out as good as it looks in the trailers.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
