Thanks to the absolutely huge success of the Crash Bandicoot remaster it was obvious that Spyro would also be coming back to the masses and the first trailer has dropped for that very game. Spyro: Reignited Trilogy will be coming to both the PS4 and the Xbox One later this year in September and it has a lot of people excited.
Looking at the trailer itself and some comparison screenshots the game looks absolutely gorgeous, exactly what an up to date Spyro game should look like. I hope that the game will be coming to the Switch (and from what some sources are saying it very well might be!) as I loved the Spyro series when I was young so getting to play the entire trilogy again will be a wonderful nostalgia trip. Let’s just hope it brings Spyro back into the mainstream popular culture just as much as Crash’s game did for him.
