I’ve been in somewhat of a card game binge recently as many new games that have come out have some kind of card or deckbuilding mechanic to them. Thus you would imagine my surprise then when a new game is set to come out that not only features a really cool looking battle system based around deckbuilding but also let’s you play as SKELETONS!
Nadir: A Grimdark Deckbuilder (yes that’s it’s actual full title) is a really stylish looking rpg similar in style to Slay the Spire in which rather than you travelling up as tower you are descending into the pits of hell to take it over as your own! The style reminds me a lot of Darkest Dungeons mixed with Hades and it really pops out as a beautiful game. I for one will be interested in playing it when it comes out later this year and if you’re into deckbuilding or card games then you might want to keep your eye on this one.
