Ubisoft’s E3 conference this year didn’t have too many big things to keep us all excited and glued to our seats as it just seemed like the usua; updates to game series we already knew about. One new project they announced however was a curiously cell shaded looking game called ‘Gods and Monsters’.
Now we didn’t really know much about it as the trailer only showed that it was a mythology based game and it was being made by the Assassins Creed team however recently more information has been revealed about the game and it certainly sounds interested. It’s set to be an open world RPG set in a mythology based land and being told in a way similar to an old story book.
The main protagonist, Fenyx, is stated to be a fully customisable character and the game will have a big focus on resource management, platforming during combat and using unique abilities and powers. It all sounds a bit like Breath of the Wild with a mix from Assassin’s Creed but we haven’t yet seen any gameplay so time will tell if this ends up being an interesting game to play.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
