There’s been some movement from Austin of Dingaling Games, creator of the beloved RPG Maker game Lisa: The Painful and it may very well be that more content in the Lisa series (or at least something to do with the games) is being hinted at.
The creator has officially added the soundtrack of the game to his official Youtube channel and is uploading songs once or twice a day. Alongside this the co-creator of the soundtrack to Lisa: The Joyful, the expansion of the original game is hinting towards more Lisa content. Finally Austin has also started liking comments that mention wanting more Lisa content so with all of this evidence it seems something is coming. The fact that the soundtrack is being uploaded bit by bit implies that this might be some kind of countdown and that once the entire OST is uploaded, something will happen.
I believe it might be one of three possibilities. Firstly it might be a port of the game to consoles including the Switch, second it might be a remastering of the original game on a new and better engine or of course thirdly it might be a new game in the series. There’s also of course the possibility that this is nothing and the original creator is just uploading the soundtrack to his channel but let’s not dash our hopes that quickly. Lisa: The Painful is one of my most favourite games of all time and as such this is massive news for me, I just hope that it ends up being true and that we are indeed getting something new.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
