I’m an absolute sucker for mech-based games and especially those that style themselves as fast paced shooters. Imagine my surprise then when I found out about Galahad 3093, a mech-based hero shooter of all things that bases it’s characters and weapons after arthurian legend, what an interesting concept.
The game is set to release in early access later this year and the reason I am bringing it up now is that the game is set to have a week long early access beta test tomorrow that will allow everyone who signs up on the steam page to try out the game and test the servers before the official release. I will certainly be trying it out myself as the idea sounds pretty interesting and according to those who have already tried the closed beta it plays reall well. I just hope the finished product will appropriately live up to the hype and perhaps more importantly can retain a consistent player basis over the coming years. Poor poor Hawken…
