An interesting addition to the indie scene near the end of last month was Loop Hero, a strange mix of an auto-battler, strategy game, city building game and rogue-lite RPG that I recently decided to try out. There won’t be a full review of the game as it is still being actively developed and other matters that I am currently working on mean that I am unable to dedicate the time to a full review breakdown but suffice it to say I am enjoying the title.
It’s a very chilled out experience that I am able to run in the background while talking to friends and the ability to pause and make tactical decisions at any times makes it a very relaxed strategy game. I wish it did have a borderless windowed option however, though no doubt that will be something that will be added down the line. If you’re a fan of rogue-lites and the auto battling concept then be sure to give this a check as it’s fairly cheap and I certainly am having a good time with it.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
