This is something I didn’t think I’d see in a million years, I’ve been caught off guard! Lisa: The Painful and Lisa: The Joyful are getting full blown remasters with updated graphics, bugfixes, new quests, dialogue, improved combat, new music and even full console releases!
After such a long time of no word about anything to do with Lisa this has certainly jumped out of the blue and into my heart. Best of all, to those who own the original game and it’s expansion on PC this is a full, free update. As you can imagine I most certainly have the joy joy joy joy down in my heart.
Lisa: The Painful is, in my opinion, one of the greatest RPG’s ever made and so seeing it get updated with new story threads (Including new endings!) and just better updates systems makes me a happy chappie. It will even allow you to play the original game through a launcher, so you don’t lose out on the classic experience! If you haven’t played the Lisa games before then this is absolutely the best time to do so, you can check it out when it releases on July 18th. God that day can’t come soon enough, what a great year for gaming this is!
