A big event is happening locally to me this weekend, the big next Edinburgh Global Game Jam and guess what, I’m taking part! Yes me, the writer with a little bit of talent I hope, will be helping out one of the teams at the event by doing my best to craft a cool gaming story within the space of 48 hours, this should be fun.
To those of you that don’t know a Game Jam is essentially a challenge for industry veterans and newcomers to divide into teams over the course of a weekend and see if they can create a brand new game from scratch. So as such I hope to be able to help a talented team create a new and interesting title this weekend and I certainly hope that my skills will come in useful! Due to all of this there won’t be a post on Monday and Tuesday as I will be recovering from the event but you can be sure that following on from that there will indeed be more posts talking about the event so stay tuned for all of that!
