The next big World of Warcraft expansion has been revealed to be ‘Dragonflight’, a dragon-focused piece of content that will see players riding on dragons, visiting the dragon homelands and of course dealing with a lot more content to do with dragons. It seems as though Blizzard are taking the Skyrim route of making things cooler by adding dragons, well they’ve certainly made worse decisions in the past.
Alongside all this they will also be adding a brand new race to play, the ‘Dracthyr’ which are a hybrid of dragons and humans and are able to transform between the two. They are also adding a new class, the ‘Evoker’ which is a magic-focused class that will only be playable as the new race due to them focusing primarily on dragon magic.
We don’t have a release date for this expansion yet however it will soon be available on the testing servers in an Alpha state so if you’re looking forward to the next expansion then you’ll just have to wait a little bit longer until new information is released. Let’s see if this ends up bringing WoW back from it’s death-spiral.
