The debacle of the Activision-Blizzard lawsuit continues to get worse and worse as employees recently shared with the world a company-wide email that was sent to try and dissuade people from joining a Union in order to increase their rights within the company and ensure they are treated fairer (see above).
The email in question asks people not to talk to Unions but to instead engage in talks with the company itself in order to come to a better understanding concerning both the recent slew of sexual harrasement and violence claims alongside the recent firing of important QA staff within one of the companies overseen by Activion-Blizzard. It’s very clear that this is meant to be a union busting message as the company knows as soon as Unions are involved they will start having to face serious consequences for their actions and actually have to start changing their workplace environment rather than let this be all swept under the rug. It’s an absolute joke to think that the company believes people will speak directly to them after being repeatedly ignored over the years when talking about these awful things and it’s just another indicator that this company does not care about any of their employees and they just want them to shut up and get back to work.
