With the massive success of Baldur’s Gate 3 it’s no secret that the rest of the series has had an eye cast over it to see if anything can be gleamed from these classic RPG titles. It seems as though Wizards of the Coast agree as they have confirmed that a full remake of the second title in the series, Baldur’s Gate 2, currently has a remake in development. Whilst we don’t know any details about it current, not even a release date, it’s sure to make any old-school RPG fan happy to hear and hopefully WOTC don’t end up messing this up for nostalgia’s sake, though it’s WOTC so who knows at this stage.
