You knew this was coming, I knew this was coming, most likely the organisers of this knew it was coming and yet it’s still somewhat sad to hear that once again E3 this year will not be an in person event but will instead be a full digital showcase just as it has been in the previous years due to pandemic restrictions.
Most likely this will spell the end of the show’s physical presence as the lack of the show for the past few years is sure to hurt their bottom line and yet despite E3 not being with us we still have had many streams directly from developers and publishers that have stepped in to provide us the announcements of upcoming games. As such many don’t really see a point in having E3 in general aside from hype so this may very well be the nail in the coffin that it was awaiting.
Still it’s not in good form to mourn the dead while they still walk so I shall wait and see if the big death announcement will end up happening. Believe me though, it will not come as a shock to me. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
