Well it seems as though big companies are really starting to try and tap into the mobile gaming market. Platinum Games (creators of games such as Bayonetta and Nier: Automata) have unveiled their newest game which is in fact a mobile game called World of Demons.
The game is said to be set in a fictional Japanese land full of monsters and creatures from old folklore. You are a lone samurai who has set out to defeat a demon king and restore balance to the world. Along the way you will meet other demons and companions who will come with you on your journey to defeat the demon king. What is most interesting about all of this is that Platinum Games are most well known for a certain type of game, mainly being high octane Hack ‘N Slash experiences with a dash of the ridiculous. Platinum has said that they have tailored this exact experience to this game and that it will focus on touch screen controls and intuitive gameplay to go along with it. Whether this will actually be the case I am not sure as their previous games have been extremely complicated with combos and movement abilities so I guess we will all see how this translates to the mobile market. It’s certainly strange to suddenly see so many companies try to make mobile games, let’s see where this trend goes.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
