In an interesting move it seems as though Konami have actually started making games again using their old licenses, who would have thought! They announced that a brand new Castlevania game would be coming out, however it’s actually a mobile game instead of a full release.
Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls is set to be a 2D sidescroller similar to the previous entries in the series however the big difference here is that the game heavily focuses on a four player multiplayer co-op that will be present throughout the entire game. This means that instead of fighting against the forces of Dracula on a lone mission you will be tackling big bosses and castles of creatures with your friends alongside you. No pricing information has been announced and we still don’t have a release date but this should at least be an interesting change for the series even if it’s not what the fans really wanted.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
