An exciting announcement has come to fans of the Point and Click Adventure Game genre, Monkey Island is back! The original creators, Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman, are back for this project as well as the newly created Lucasfilms Games, Terrible Toybox Studios and it is being published by Devolver Digital because of course it is.
The Secret of Monkey Island is still to this day probably the most well known and influential game in it’s genre and so seeing the main creators come back for a full modern title is exciting to see. The reveal trailer doesn’t tell us too much but it shows off the art style which looks absolutely gorgeous. The game is set to be released later this year so if you’ve been itching for a good Adventure game to play then keep an eye out for the project, hopefully it won’t let us down.
