Does anybody remember the original Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning? It was a serviceable RPG released back in 2012 to mild success with it’s pretty visuals and fun Hack N’ Slash style combat and ever since has gained a bit of as cult following. Well it seems as though enough people love the game that it’s getting a remaster released around August this year, how interesting.
This news comes from a listing on the Microsoft Store that revealed the game and stated it would return with better graphics and refined gameplay, whatever that means. THQ Nordic bought the rights to the series back in 2018 so many people were wondering if a new game in the series would be developed but it seems here that the company are testing the waters first to see if people actually like playing and want another entry before jumping into the sequel territory. I remember trying out the game myself and while I never finished it I thought it was quite fun. It will be interesting to see what improvements are made to the game and exactly how happy fans of the original will be with it.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
