With Halo 3 now on PC as you might imagine there are a plethora of new fans coming to the game and in turn creating a great amount of new modded material for the game in order to make it last far longer than the original shelf life. One of those projects just recently was released in the form of Halo 3: Zombies which is essentially a version of the classic Call of Duty Zombies Mode that has been fully translated into the setting of Halo 3.
The mode uses a section from the original campaign and works exactly as you might imagine it; kill flood zombies, gain points, use points to buy guns from the walls and open up sections of the map. It even has it’s own version of the mystery box allowing you to gamble points to get a powerful random weapon, everything is here seemingly!
It’s lovely to see projects like these happen as it shows all of the love the Halo community has for the game despite it being very old at this point and hopefully once full modding tools and support comes to the PC Master Chief Collection we will see far more ambitious projects come to fruition.
