Gaming Genres are a bit arbitrary when it comes to the art form of gaming. Truly you can make a game that doesn’t really have a genre at all but as we humans love to categorise things we try to relate games to any genre we can think of so we can more easily describe it to other people and see if it interests them.
So due to this mentality I thought I would ask you all a question, what is your favourite video game genre? Are you a fan of shooters, are you an RPG kinda person or do you most enjoy playing puzzle games? Personally I would say that while I play a large variety of games and genres and thus my tastes aren’t exactly the most stable and reliable I would say that I probably most enjoy turn-based narrative-focused RPG’s on the whole. As I said though it’s entirely arbitrary so you can tell us if it’s just a particular style of game that you enjoy. Regardless of what it is simply let us all know in the comments below.
