So after reading an article by the BBC (which I will post a link to at the end of this post by the way) it seemed to indicate that Scotland’s gaming industry has recently gained a surge in popularity with many new studios popping up and the revenue that it generates contributing to a huge amount of the Scottish economy.
For gamers this probably shouldn’t come as a surprise. The gaming industry is absolutely massive all over the world and it seems to be getting more and more massive as the years go on. Unlike film which has to rely upon old technology and pop culture icons to stay relevant gaming has easily adapted t the ever changing world of technology becoming stronger and most importantly finding new ways of interacting with audiences.
Maybe this will show other parts of the world that the games industry isn’t to be taken lightly and that we may become even more popular than film to the general public at some point. Time will tell I suppose. Here is a link to the article if you are interested in a read!

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a life.
