Multiplayer only

Yep, you're being talked about again.
Yep, you’re being talked about again.

So I wanted to discuss a bit of a strange issue today, the choice of a single player vs multiplayer only game. Games such as Skyrim, The Witcher 3 and such are brilliant examples of games that don’t need any form of multiplayer content and instead focus on creating a focused single player narrative that allows you to replay the game in various ways in order to roleplay or just experience the game again.

Then there are multiplayer only games such as Star Wars Battlefront or Evolve, games which have no single player and instead focus on refining a core gameplay style that can be played on repeat without getting boring for the player. Both games have their own character and charm to them however some believe that only one gameplay style works best. Some believe that games don’t need a multiplayer aspect and so much prefer single player only games while some believe that a game needs a multiplayer mode in order to stay relevant as the years go by. Both have their points and I would probably say I was in the first boat of people as I play single player games almost exclusively as I seem to prefer them more.

What would you say was your favourite then? Do you prefer single player only games or multiplayer only games? let me know in the comments section below! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
