There is loving a game and then there is remaking a game on an updated engine without any help from the developers, astonishing! The team at Poem Studios wants to recreate the entirety of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, an older Bioware game, entirely in the Unreal 4 Engine. The team love the game so much that they intend to remake it and then hand it out to everyone for free. Talk about dedication!
Now I must say I don’t actually know too much about Knights of the Old Republic having never played it and all (I really should get to that at some point) but if someone did this for something like Halo 3 I would lose my cool (Halo Online doesn’t really count). The fact that the team is so dedicated and wants to get something like this done shows the great work that fans can make for a product and I whole-heartedly support their efforts. Good on you team, may the force be with you.
