Game of the… Year?

Well at least it is coming out for all versions!

So an interesting development has arrived from Bethesda, like their previous Fallout games they have announced a ‘Game of the Year’ edition which includes all the DLC and the game itself. The game is scheduled for a release on September 26th.

Now while this is par for the course for these games I have strangely mixed feelings about it. Firstly the big announcement from the company is just another re-release of a game they have already created which many people are giving them flak for over Skyrim. Secondly while the game did get a game of the year award from an obscure game awards ceremony this iteration in the franchise hasn’t exactly blown a lot of people away. Don’t get me wrong I adore this game, but not claiming it as just being a definitive version and instead showing it off as a game of the year is pushing it a little.

Maybe I’m just being petty, I suppose it will give those who want the full game experience a chance to get it all together. Let’s just see how the Fallout 4 VR experience is and judge that more harshly, I’m not looking forward to this. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
